Alex Shares a little bit of what EXIT Realty is Like

My name is Alex and I am a senior at Norwalk High School and am expected to graduate this spring in 2018. I have always lived and grew up in the Norwalk Des Moines area. I have always enjoyed being outdoors being active or being inside playing music on guitar. I can always find a way to have fun, and I am also a member of my church Fellowship Community Church in Norwalk. For the next eight months I am interning with a local real estate agency. This is my first blog.

My first week interning at EXIT Realty was full of interesting facts and information. I learned a lot about what work you put into real estate to do well, and how generous EXIT is to their agents. At EXIT, their agents generally get 70% of the commission on day one. Once an agent exceeds $100,000 in gross commission during any calendar year, their commission split goes up to 90% for the remainder of that year. Knowing this you can make good money because of how the EXIT system works. Agents can make even more money than just the high commission on their own sales. They can sponsor people into the company. This means if you introduce an agent to EXIT and they join an EXIT office anywhere in North America, you become their sponsor. As a thank you for introducing the agent to EXIT Realty, the corporate office will give you the equivalent 10% of the gross commission on every transaction that agent does as long as you both are with EXIT Realty, up to a maximum of $10,000 in a calendar year. You can introduce as many agents to the company as you're able and have the opportunity to make well over 100% commission. Obviously, you can make a lot more money. Once you retire you still get 7% of your sponsorees’ incomes.

As you can see, EXIT cares a lot about their agents and wants them to be happy with the company. EXIT cares about developing relationships with people. Everyone at EXIT builds relationships with their clients, and even continue to connect with them after the work with the property transaction is done. They send their clients letters asking how they are or wishing them a merry Christmas because they care about them, and want to know how they are doing. They keep in touch with them, that’s a little bit of what EXIT Realty is like.
